3. Rope Up At Calgary’s Centennial Stampede

Have you ever been to the world’s grandest rodeo? If not, this would be the year to go because Calgary is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the annual Calgary Stampede. 4. Re-Live The War Of 1812 At Wasaga Beach

Wasaga under Siege is an annual living history festival commemorating the War of 1812 battle that saw an American victory and the sinking of the British schooner Nancy. Watch as hundreds of re-enactors participate in destruction and avenging of His Majesty’s Ship Nancy. After witnessing the action on the waterfront, follow the parade back to Nancy Island where the re-enactors join 19th century merchants, artisans, demonstrators and entertainers for live period musical entertainment and much more.
