Humour Hunt

HHBanner

This air force contribution comes from Doreen Ness of Lillooet, B.C.:

A Royal Air Force pilot who had made a forced landing in Belgium was rescued by a nun. She led him to her convent, gave him a set of nun’s apparel and told him to lie low, say nothing and that sooner or later the would find a way to get him back to England.

For eight weeks the pilot spoke to no one and shaved eight times a day. One evening, he saw a beautiful young sister alone in the pantry and on sudden impulse swept her into his arms.

He was sent reeling backwards and a deep masculine voice said: “Old yer ‘orses, carn’t yer. I’ve been ‘ere since Dunkirk.”
