Stan Knight of Bobcaygeon, Ont., writes:
During the Second World War, our escort group ran a convoy with HMS Revenge. The mighty Revenge sat steady as a rock in the water while the Canadian corvettes bobbed around her like corks. I was duty signaller on HMCS Orillia when skipper Ted Briggs had me flash to the Revenge as we were taking up our stations: “How do you like our new camouflage job?”
The answer came back: “Fantastic! Where the hell are you?”
