Legion Magazine’s popular special interest publication Korea: The Forgotten War included an archival photo on page 95 that showed soldiers of 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry marching through downtown streets. The information that came with the photo did not give the name of the city, but John’s recent photo proves exactly where the march took place—Vancouver. He says the old photo shows troops marching west on Georgia Street, having just past the intersection with Howe Street.

We thank John for helping us sort this out, and for his contribution to Find-Share-Discuss. We invite other readers to share similar memories of wartime or peacetime service.
