Letters From The Bowes Brothers – [No date] Somewhere in France

Well Musie dear how does it sound at last I am here but that is about all I can say only that I am all OK. I had a letter from the boys a couple of days ago but they could not get up to see me before I left. I was very disappointed about it but such is life.

It will be Xmas by the time you get this so I will wish you and the family all the greetings of the year. No Mother I will not be able to write you as often as before but don’t worry about that as I will write as often as possible. When you get this letter, phone Gladys and tell her all about this letter as I have no more paper or time at present to write her with best wishes and love.

I will close as ever, your loving son,

Cliff
