I think that this is the third or fourth article of his that I have read and he has a way of placing the reader into the fray. One can envision the background that he draws and the emotions that are forwarded. The Kerrs have suffered so much and as an ex-military chap (though certainly not having experienced the acts of combat), I feel for them. I hope that they continue to heel and enjoy their life together.
