A father’s time in Korea…

 Bernard Parro of Hamilton shares some photos of his father’s journey to and service on the Korean Peninsula in the early 1950s.

“I found them while cleaning out his belongings. Dad (Jim Parro) passed away in January 2013. He was a medic in the Second World War and re-enlisted in 1952 for the Korean War,” explains Bernard.
